ridiculous to have no rock
ridiculous to have no rock and roll representation..
Ann Wilson of Heart, Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks..
so many that I think are at least better than
Gloria Estefan.. who wouldn't make my top ten
And this is almost exclusively R&B .. not by any means
"history' which includes great opera singers, country,
artists like Bjork, Madonna (can't argue her popularity)

This listing is hysterical!
This listing is hysterical! I am not a fan of Barbara Streisand's communist politics but her voice is one of the greatest of all time. Diana Ross was a wonderful singer / entertainer but does not belong here.

I agree, I think the fact she
I agree, I think the fact she died 30 years ago today alot of younger people don't know her name but they would know the music when they heard it at Christmas, weddings and the like. If she had lived longer she would be at least in the top 3. My vote is number 1.
